Payment
We prefer payment by cash or check, but if you wish to pay by credit card, we are registered with Paypal.

Instruction & Guiding
$90 Quickstart Kayak group lesson  - 4 hours - avg group size 3-5
$137 Intro, Level 2 or Coastal Kayak group lesson - 6 hours - avg group size 3-5
$60/hr Tour for up to 4 people
$80/hr Private Instruction for one person
$100/hr Private Instruction for family, non-profit group, or 2 friends

Kayak Rentals
$35 Sit-on-top single kayak for any lesson or trip
$50 Sit-on-top tandem kayak for any lesson or trip
$50 Sit-inside single kayak for any lesson or trip
Add $15/kayak for any unaccompanied rental. We provide transportation to and from the launch.
Kayak rentals include life vest & paddle. Sit-inside rentals also include spray skirt, pump and paddle float.

Terms
Sea kayaking is a high risk sport. Please read our page What to Wear & Bring Kayaking to understand how best to prepare. Participation: Kayak Adventure reserves the right to re-schedule a class or tour if there are less than three participants. Weather:  we cancel for downpour, high winds or thunderstorms. Cancellations:   summer weekends are considered pre-paid unless we cancel for weather (high winds, thunderstorms, heavy rain). Please give 36 hours notice if you need to change your plans. Waiver:  you will be asked to sign a waiver form. ID: a photo identification document is required for all rentals - driver's license or passport.

Gear Rentals - for use in Kayak Adventure classes - add 50% for off-site rental

$4 Compass - clip-on deck
$4 Waterproof navigation light for night-time paddling or strobe light for visual distress signal (both CG required)
$5 Mukluk style waterproof knee-high boots (for cold water use)

$10 Farmer John or Jane wetsuit (long legs, no sleeves), 3mm
$10 Dry pants or jacket - breathable, waterproof for cold water paddling (under 60 degrees)

$33 Cold-water gear package: wetsuit, dry pants & jacket, 3mm neoprene gloves, neoprene hood & waterproof mukluk boots

Travel Fees to your location
We will travel to your location anywhere in CT or metro NY.
One way travel time is charged at $20/hour.
Round trip travel mileage is charged at the IRS Rate- 48.5 cents/mile.
Mileage is calculated using Mapquest from 24 Poplar St., Norwalk, CT to your destination.
